Little Miss N's Star Achievements

Once upon a time there was a little girl name N who came to start her beginner's foundation course at Amaze in Jan 2014. She is always happy to learn and her mother is very supportive of our approach in guiding her step-by-step to fluency in English. 

When she first started, her learning objective was just to build a strong foundation in English focusing on usage, sounds, blends, vocabulary, meaning, listening, reading and comprehension. She progressed well and was a star student at Amaze every time we had a show & tell session to review her performance with her parents. 

As she progressed along from phonics phase 1 to phase 2 to phase 3 and now to phase 4, she also went through a transition of school from a Japanese kindergarten to an International school. Her learning objective remained the same which included all areas of foundation skills and more difficult skills like speaking, grammar and writing but we focused our time more on putting all the theory learnt to practise, guided mom on how to help her at home on reading & conversation to extend her practise time so she could smoothly adjust to her new International School challenges. 

She started International School in 2015 entering Grade 1 ESL and in only a year's time she has moved out of ESL level and is now in mainstream level along side her native speaker classmates. We are proud to let you know of her latest achievement. She will now be starting Grade 2 in Aug 2016, mainstream English level.
